About The Pittsburgh Highlanders RFC (PGHHRFC) is a rugby union football club founded in Latrobe, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania in 1983. The club moved to the Greater Pittsburgh area in 1994. The Highlanders are a Division III men's club and play a schedule within the Allegheny Rugby Union and Midwest Territory. The club has approximately 300 alumni and a current roster of active and social members from a variety of backgrounds and rugby experience, from law enforcement to teachers and marketing executives. The club is an incorporated not-for-profit organization and is active within our community. We actively support the Greater Pittsburgh Food Bank, the American Cancer Association and the Pittsburgh Blood Bank.
