PARIS -- The 2014 Women’s Eagles World Cup team is coming to the end of its journey. As the tournament comes to close, USA faces New Zealand to determine fifth place. For some of the players it will also be the final international match of their careers.
It was “do or die” Wednesday for an opportunity to play for fifth place at the IRB Women’s Rugby World Cup as the Women’s Eagles went head-to-head with the Australian Wallaroos at the Center for National Rugby in Marcoussis.
More than 350 players, coaches and match officials participating at the record-breaking Women’s Rugby World Cup 2014 in France have been given concussion education as the Rugby community is told to #Recognise&Remove.
