    The USA Rugby Trust has awarded $8,000 in grant money in 2015 to help defray the cost of providing ambulance and paramedic services at College and Club Regional Playoff Tournaments.

    The USA Rugby Men’s Eagles will be taking thousands of supporters with them onto the pitch this fall at the 2015 Rugby World Cup in England. Fans now have the opportunity to support the Eagles with the purchase of a spot on a player’s number to place his/her photo for the entirety of the Rugby World Cup.

    Paul Sheehy played four years of rugby at Fairfield University, eight years with Washington Rugby club and one season with Manley rugby club in Sydney, Australia. He currently coaches at Gonzaga High School. Paul says he is now giving back to USA Rugby Trust because of how the sport of rugby enriched his life.

    This month Houston Athletic Rugby Club player Jacqueline Harrell won an online auction, ran by USA Rugby Trust, for of one of Jillion Potter’s jerseys. The money raised will go directly to Jillion to use for her medical expenses.

    In the back corner of the cold, cavernous USA Rugby warehouse, stacked unceremoniously on several shelves lays a treasure trove of American rugby history that has gone uncatalogued for years. That’s all about to change, thanks to a new effort by the USA Rugby Trust.
  • New York Athletic Club Grants Men’s National Team $10,000


    The prestigious New York Athletic Club’s (NYAC) Athlete’s Fund has awarded USA Rugby Trust a $10,000 grant to benefit the Men’s Eagles’ XVs team as the athletes begin to train for the 2015 World Cup in England.
