NY Rugby Hosts 7th Annual "Game Development Series"

NYS Rugby has announced the schedule for its 2011 Game Development Series. Highlights of the series are the seventh Player Development Camp, Introducing & Developing Rugby as part of the USA Coaches Development Program, a Lineout & Continuity Clinic and a Scrum Clinic.

Each of these events features some of the finest presenters and tacticians under the USA Rugby umbrella. Eddie O'Sullivan, Head Coach of the U.S. Men's National Team, will once again lead the Player Camp, while Luke Gross and Bill LeClerc will lead the Line Out and Scrum clinics, respectively.

"We are excited to announce NYS Rugby's 2011 Game Development Series," stated Mike Hodgins NYS Rugby President. "NYS Rugby is committed to assisting in the development of not only its athletes, but those coaches leading them. We feel this will be an incredible opportunity for our membership to help grow the game."

As part of the Game Development Series, coaches can receive 5 CEU credits toward their ongoing USA Rugby certification requirements (the maximum available), and can extend their certification by attending two of the Game Development Series events.
