The USA Rugby College Premier Division (CPD) Barnburner for this week is a clash of collegiate rugby powerhouses battling for supremacy in the Mid-South Conference.

USA Rugby has announced the players of the week in each conference of the College Premier Division for the week of March 26. The USA Eagles defeated China 36-14 and lost to England 12-37 in the second day of the Hong Kong Sevens tournament, giving them a 2-1 record and berth in the Bowl Quarterfinals where they will face Tonga.

Japan defeated the USA in the final minutes of the Hong Kong Sevens Bowl Semifinal and eliminated the Eagles from the Bowl Final.

The Arizona State Sun Devils beat sworn rivals Arizona today 38-14 in the weekly CPD Barnburner. ASU has soared up the ranks, moving from DII just last year to one of the top teams in the Western Conference with a 2-1 record.

The Women's Eagles made it to the Plate Final in the Hong Kong Women's Sevens Tournament, going 3-2 and narrowly losing to the Netherlands in the Plate final.

The Eagles got their Hong Kong Sevens off to a good start today, beating Japan 24-19. Tomorrow the Eagles will face China and England for a chance to qualify for the Cup.
