TOKYO – It was the game the USA has needed to win.  The USA came from behind to beat Fiji at the death in the Plate Semifinal of the Tokyo Sevens.  The Eagles will now face Scotland in the Plate Final at 2:42 a.m. ET.

TOKYO – The USA are bound for the Tokyo Sevens cup quarterfinals after a wild day one.  Now the USA faces New Zealand in the cup quarterfinals tonight (March 30) at 9:50 p.m. ET.

TOKYO, Japan -- The USA had to beat Scotland by 12 points to control their own destiny in reaching the cup quarterfinals, which they didn't do.  Luckily, they got some help from Wales to propel the Eagles into the elite cup competition on day two of the Tokyo Sevens.

TOKYO -- The 10-21 loss to Kenya was a tough one to swallow for the Eagles who put in one of the best performances of the season in their second pool game of the Tokyo Sevens.

TOKYO -- It was a thriller from start to finish and the USA came out on top.  The early pressure by the Eagles in the first half and some opportunism in the second gave the USA a 24-22 win over last week's Cup finalists Wales in the Tokyo Sevens opener.

USA Rugby announced today the Men’s Eagles Sevens roster for the seventh round of the IRB HSBC Sevens World Series, Tokyo Sevens.

The IRB has confirmed the pool draw for round seven of the HSBC Sevens World Series, the Tokyo Sevens at the Prince Chichibu Memorial Ground on 30-31 March 2013.

Despite another early lead, the Men’s Sevens Eagles were knocked out of the Cathay Pacific HSBC Hong Kong Sevens after a 20-12 loss to Hong Kong Sunday.
