Emerick competed collegiately for the University of Northern Iowa before moving on to professional teams in Chicago, Italy and England. He made his debut with the Eagles in 2003 and has been a regular on the team since then, competing in the 2003, 2007 and 2011 Rugby World Cups and becoming the leading try scorer among active U.S. players.
