Hodges steps down from MNT post

After the years of committed service to the Men's National Team coaching staff and more years than that to USA Rugby as a whole, Dave Hodges will be stepping down from his position as forwards coach.  Hodges was not able to put in the time that he felt he needed to be an effective coach as he needed to address personal affairs.

USA Men's National Team Head Coach, Mike Tolkin said, "Dave was an outstanding Eagle as well as a passionate and diligent coach for the United States. His work with the forwards, his video analysis and his overall contribution to the Eagles were exemplary. We will miss his expertise and hard work. Dave is a friend, and it was a pleasure coaching with him. The players and the coaching staff wish him all the best."

Hodges was the captain of the USA and has been involved in nearly all aspects of the game and coaching since the 1990s.  He has also served in various capacaties in governance of the sport and was instrumental in the operations side of the USA Sevens tournament since 2010.
