AIG Men’s Junior All-Americans head to Minnesota for Canada series

BOULDER, Colo. – The USA Rugby AIG Men’s Junior All-Americans will be in Blaine, Minn., this weekend in preparation for an international test series against Canada at the National Sports Center.

MJAA Head Coach Jason Kelly will lead a pre-match camp in Blaine from May 4-7 before the first test on Wednesday, May 8, and another camp from May 9-10. The second test will be played on Saturday, May 11.

The MJAAs are not the only attraction in Blaine that week, as USA Rugby and Minnesota Youth Rugby are hosting a day of rugby on Saturday, May 11. A Middle School Showcase Match and Boys High School Showcase Match start off the day on separate fields of the National Sports Center, followed by a Rookie Rugby Flag Jamboree.

Entrance to each match, including the Women’s Club Showcase Match immediately before the MJAAs’ second test against Canada, is free of charge. A Ruck/Continuity and Lineout Coaching Clinic, held by USA Rugby High Performance Player Development Manager and former Eagle Luke Gross, will be available for $20, which includes a ticket to the second test.

Tickets for the tests can be purchased online or at the event.

    Hello, Ben

If you get any news let me know. My son, Joel Smith, plays for the US side so anxious to be able to watch. He's asked the coaching staff but it seems nothing is going to be broadcast.
