Bryan Park Soccer Complex will host the 2013 National Collegiate Sevens Championships November 23-24. Teams will be able to utilize practice fields and a players’ village at Bryan Park.
BOULDER, Colo. – USA Rugby announced today Greensboro, N.C., will host the USA Rugby 2013 National Collegiate Sevens Championships this fall.
Schools from 17-plus Men’s DI, D2/Small College, and Women’s D1, DII, and NSCRO conferences will take in the hospitality of ‘Tournament Town’ from November 23-24, 2013.
“Not only does Greensboro have a storied history of hosting major sporting events, but the city hosted the D1A National Championship earlier this year,” USA Rugby Collegiate Director Rich Cortez said. “We are excited to be able to bring more schools to the region.”
Expected conferences to be represented at the 2013 National Collegiate Sevens Championship include:

- Southeast Rugby Conference
- California D1A
- Western D1A
- Mid-South D1A
- Rugby East D1A
- South Independent
- Pacific Northwest
- Pacific West
- Gold Coast
- Allied Rugby Conference D1A
- Heart of America
- Various D2/NSCRO teams to compete in the Open Division
“Greensboro has treated USA Rugby well in the past and it was an easy choice to host the 2013 National Collegiate Sevens Championships there,” USA Rugby Events Director Jen Gray said. “Any one of the available venue options will be first-rate for the rugby community.”
