College Premier Division - Week 1 Scores and Stats
The inaugural weekend of College Premier Division play has come to an end and what a weekend it was! We saw numerous exciting matches accompanied by some outstanding individual performances; notably a four try match by Cal's Derek Asbun.
This past week's CPD Barnburner, the Wasatch Cup between BYU and Utah, was played in front of 6,000 fans and ended in favor of BYU 40-22, bringing their Wasatch Cup record to 7-1. This week's Barnburner of the week is between bitter rivals Colorado and Colorado State at Infinity Park in Glendale, Colorado. Last October CSU edged out Colorado 32-29 in a match that went down to the wire, thus setting the stage for this week's highly anticipated rematch.
