Who should be named the College Premier Division Player of the Week?

Rugby East: Ryan Goulding, Penn St., Soph., Lock (Roslyn Heights, NY)

Saturday: Two tries in a 30-29 win over Kutztown
Coach Notes: Switched from lock to flanker this week, and in his first start at this position he scored two tries in five minutes in the second half to take the team from losing 19-10 to winning 20-19 and change the momentum. Ryan was a physical presence all over the pitch all day, and played very well on both sides of the ball in his first match back from a leg fracture.

Mid-South: Sean Peterson, Notre Dame, Soph., Flyhalf (Carmichael, Calif.)

Saturday: 1 penalty kick and 1 conversion in a 15-11 win at LSU
Coach Notes: Controlled the game from start to finish. Mature performance on his part.

Western: Ryan Roundy, BYU, Jr., No. 8 (Holliday, Utah)

Thursday: CPD season-high seven tries in a 94-5 win over Colorado
Coach Notes: He leads from the front. You won’t see very many better performances by an individual player than the one he had on Thursday.

Pacific: Joe Brophy, St. Marys, Sr., No. 8 (Redwood City, Calif.)

Saturday: Two tries in a 46-5 win over San Diego State
Coach Notes:Great range on a rainy day. Joe’s athleticism and superb rugby intellect had him in the right place at the right time for the majority of the contest.
