College Congress Representatives to be assembled

BOULDER, Colo. -- The USA Rugby College Management Council is excited to announce the elections process for the first-ever board of College Congress Representatives.

Previously, USA Rugby Congress Members were chosen to represent all divisions of rugby within their respective Territorial Unions. Those divisions included youth/high school, college, and senior clubs.

With the growth and organization of the Youth and College Departments, the Board of Directors has approved the transition of the body to include Representatives from these two Divisions. Each College Region shall elect one individual to serve as its representative to Congress.

“This election signifies a change in the approach that USA Rugby is taking in the structure of representation throughout college rugby,” USA Rugby Collegiate Director Rich Cortez said. “We are moving towards putting college rugby into the hands of the people who are fully invested in the sport at the college level.”

Interested candidates from each College Region are encouraged to apply. Applications and terms of the position can be found online on the College Resources page. http://usarugby.org/ college-resources.

Elections Process

  • Applications will be accepted beginning Feb. 7, 2014, and must be received no later than 9:00 P.M. MT Friday, Feb. 21, 2014.
  • The list of Candidates from each Region will be provided to the College Officers by Feb. 28, 2014.
  • The formal elections shall be held March 14-16, 2014, via electronic voting by each College Officer for his/her regional representative.

“There are so many good rugby people out there in our community,” said Cortez. “They are capable of bringing new ideas and initiatives to the table, and we need to hear from them.”

Already hermes outlet the cast has a slew of beauties for Clark to save. Laura Vandervoort performance at the beginning was incredibly hollow. Perhaps this is because of her lack of experience or that she is joining a cast that already has a deep rooted history. Whatever the reason her first few episodes and story lines are bothersome. Clark assuming the role of protector is expected but it is the role reversal that makes fendi outlet Vandervoort scenes worth while. Clark is now teaching her to blend in and accept Smallville as her home. All the while Clark is becoming more of the hero we expect. Kara storylines and subplots eventually work themselves replica handbags out and Vandervoort does earn her stripes to join the cast as a regular character.
