The University of Central Florida will defend its Men’s Division I-AA College National Championship crown Sunday thanks to a 43-5 win against University of San Diego in the Semifinal Saturday at Steuber Rugby Stadium.
The Matadors of Cal State University, Northridge, booked a ticket to the Women’s Division II College Final with a narrow, 15-10 defeat of Indiana University of Pennsylvania Saturday at Steuber Rugby Stadium.
American International College put a scare into Stanford University with a third-minute try in the Women’s Division I College Semifinal Friday, but the Cardinal were buoyed by the home crowd at Steuber Rugby Stadium to advance to Saturday’s Final with a 29-15 win.
