Western Oregon University Women's rugby club was founded at Western Oregon University in Monmouth, Oregon. Western Oregon University is a Division II school that offers potential students the opportunity to be a part of an awesome rugby club. Western Oregon University not only offers a great women's rugby program but also offers superb Bachelor and Master's programs. WOU women's rugby is a Tier I (Competitive) Club Sport program that is part of the Cascade Collegiate Women's Rugby Conference.

Our home field is the new Campus Recreation Turf Field. It is located right next to our old pitch in between the softball and the baseball fields.

Western Oregon University Women's Rugby club has been a team since fall of 2004. the 2004-05 season consisted of being Pacific Northwest Regional Champions as well as Pacific Coast Regional Champions which sent us to Nationals at UCSC, California where we finished 3rd in the Nation overall. In 2006 we were again champions of the Pacific Northwest region, as well as finished 2nd in our Pacific Coast regional tournament. The 2006-07 season brought us another Pacific Northwest Regional Championship. We also took 2nd in the Pacific Coast which sent us to Nationals in Sanford, Florida. There, the Lady Wolves took a 5th place finish in the Nation.

Must be an enrolled member at WOU to participate, no experience needed! We practice Monday-Thursday 4:45-6:45 p.m at the new turf field.
