"Vassar College Men's Rugby Founded in 1975 Vassar Rugby was one of the first colleges in the USA to hire a full-time Rugby coach (in 1995). The men's program has compiled 16 winning seasons of 18 since 1995 and made numerous playoff appearances. Individual honors have been earned by Frank Sharpe, a USA U.19 flanker and later a New York Athletic Club two-time Super League champion; Tom Weishaupt, Northeast Select Side player and captain. The team has made 9 overseas tours in the last 18 years."

Vassar College is a highly selective private college located in the Mid-Hudson Valley just 75 miles north of New York City.
