Southwest Minnesota State University

Southwest Minnesota State University Women's Rugby is a brand new team as 2012 was the first real season. SMSU women's rugby is not well known around Southwest because it has not been around long, but that is all about to change. The Men's and Women's rugby teams work close together and are hoping to spread the great sport of rugby around the campus. SMSU rugby is a Divison 3 sport.
Southwest Minnesota State University Women's Rugby started in 2011, but did not have a real first season until the fall of 2012. SMSU Women's Rugby start our first real season in the fall of 2012 and went 2-2 for the season. The women who play on this team are very excited to see what can happen in the next few years and hope to get the sport of rugby recognized and played more by other college women.
