Prospective Players

The Siena College Women’s Rugby Football Club accepts all interested students, of all skill and fitness levels, with any or no rugby experience; the majority of our starting side began playing rugby in college with no previous experience. Any students interested in playing need only come out to practice and join in; no experience is necessary. We welcome players with experience and players that are new to the game. We have over 30 players on the squad and everyone gets to play. We practice Monday-Wednesday-Friday from 4-6pm and Tuesday-Thursday from 4:30-6:30pm on the field in the back of the school. Our season runs from August to mid-October (fall/competitive) and March to May (spring/non-competitive). The only equipment necessary for practice is cleats and a mouthguard.
