The Santa Rosa Junior College Rugby Club is a member of the Division I-AA Pacific Western Conference. It is an official club on campus with support from the Athletic Director for use of an on-campus practice facility. We have our own grass rugby pitch, usable in all weather called For Pete's Sake Field.
The Santa Rosa Junior College Rugby Club was the first community college team to participate in collegiate rugby in the U. S. This is its 11th year of competition. It has finished as high as 4th nationally at the Division II level. It consistently competes at the highest level in Northern California and is often ranked in the top 25 teams nationally. It has moved to the Collegiate Division I-AA Pacific Western Conference this year.
