Notre Dame W

About

The Notre Dame Women's Rugby Club is a recent addition to the University of Notre Dame. We are in our third season and have worked hard to become a successful program moving from Division II to Division I. We currently play in the Big 10 Conference and against many teams in the Midwest and Chicago area. We pride ourselves on our team unity and participation in service opportunities on and around campus.
The Notre Dame Women's Rugby Club was founded in 2009. Our Inaugural season was spent playing out of CARFU in DII. During our initial competitive season we made it to the DII National Championship game before being defeated by Radcliff. The following year saw us move to DI and finally into the newly formed Big 10 Conference where we advanced to the Final Four of the Big Ten Championships.
