We have enjoyed success particularly in the past 5 years and are continuing to focus on improving every year."
"The University of Massachusetts Rugby Football Club was chartered in 1985 and has been competing continuously since then. In 2009, Coach Al Baker led the squad to the Division II Final Four in Palo Alto, California. Unfortunately, UMass loss to Temple in the semi-finals. The following summer Coach Baker passed away from a short fight with cancer. The loss still affects the club today. In 2010, the club moved into Division IAA competition and continues to seek out a National Championship. Driven by Coach Baker's vision, the club continues to play in his honor."
