Lindenwood University Men's Rugby is a fully funded rugby program. University support includes generous grant awards to qualified student athletes, all travel, equipment, uniforms, strength and conditioning coaches, weight room, video room, athletic trainers at all practices and matches, meal per diems, plus a new turf rugby pitch for daily training and matches. The high-performance rugby academy environment enables student athletes to flourish. LU currently competes in the Mid-South conference in USA Rugby D1A.

Lindenwood Men’s Rugby program began in Fall 2011 and went 20-0 vs collegiate opponents. LU made USA Rugby history in 2011-12 by winning a National Championship in its inaugural season.

Prospective Players

Lindenwood Rugby encourages all prospective players to submit their recruit information online. The team trains Monday-Friday on the new turf rugby pitch on campus. Plus Monday video session and three or more weightlifting sessions per week with strength and conditioning coaches. Our season runs September-November in the Fall which includes both 7s and 15s and February-May in the Spring which includes the playoff season.
