AboutEstablished in 2010 by a group of students with an interest in promoting the game of rugby, LETU Rugby has since grown from a Saturday pick-up game to becoming part of the Texas Rugby Union (Lonestar Conference) playing both home and away matches.Rugby had been played at LETU for many years, but go its big push in 2009 when a few missionary kids got a group of guys together to play this great game. From there a small group of dedicated students put in the hard work to become recognized by LeTourneau University, and make all the necessary steps to become an official team. Each year the club members have taken the vision of those before them in order to build a legacy of brotherhood. Our goal is to continue bringing in men who will join together in a brotherhood of rugby, growing physically and spiritually.By taken the lessons learned in rugby and applying them in life we hope to grow into men who will not only be "witnesses in every workplace and nation," but men who will go the extra mile on and off the field.
2012-1013 season was first time in Lonestar North Conference. Finished inaugural season 5-3, finished 2nd in the conference and qualified for the Lonestar State Play-Offs and secured the 4th seed in the tournament.
