About

Kennesaw State Women's rugby club is a university club sport that competes with teams throughout the South. KSU Women's rugby is a fairly new club, having recently celebrated our 4th year of being a club, we plan to continue to grow and improve. We've competed with many teams in our area including: Emory, Georgia State, North Georgia, University of Tennessee, Citadel, and many more. We pride ourselves on our beautiful facilities and our strong relationship with our men's club.
Founded in 2009, Kennesaw State Women's Rugby is a club that has a tradition of excellence and achievement, including winning 1st place at a tournament in Mobile, AL called "Battleship". We have also fought our way to state each year, taking 1st in our region.

Prospective Players

Kennesaw State Women's Rugby accepts all interested students and is inviting to all levels of skills with or without rugby experience. We welcome players who have never even heard of rugby and those who are veterans to the game. We practice every Monday and Wednesday from 8pm-10pm at our field. One equipment necessary is cleats and a mouth guard. No experience necessary, majority of players begin playing rugby in college without any previous experience. We play year round, scheduling "social" and "friendly" games in the fall to prepare for our competitive season in the spring.
