"The Women's Rugby Club at UCF was founded in 2000 and has been going strong ever since. We recently won the Florida Cup in October and look forward to competing in the spring. Many of our girls have competed at the national level; playing in games, and traveling all of the United States representing the University of Central Florida. We love to participate in many tournaments and make an appearance every year at the St. Patrick's Day tournament in Savannah Georgia. We also have a annual fundraiser at the Scottish Highland Games that we enjoy participating in. "

Absolutely no experience is necessary, we will teach you everything you need to know. We usually carry at team of about 34 so the more the merrier! Practices are on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4pm-6pm on the Sports Club Grass Fields behind Hercules 111 in the Academic Village. All you need to bring are cleats and a mouth guard. Many of our girls did not know how to play when they first came out so do not worry if you are brand new, we will take good care of you. We have a fall season and a competitive spring season.
