The CSUF Men’s Rugby Team is a California State University, Fullerton club sport that competes with teams throughout the Southern California Region. The CSUF Men’s Rugby team enjoys a strong tradition of athletic success combined with community and campus support. We participate in Division I-AA of USA Rugby college rugby and compete annually with these schools: USC, SBCC, USD , UCSD Cal State Long Beach, UC Irvine, and Claremont College. In 2011 the CSUF Titan went to the USA Rugby Nationals in San Diego.. losing their first match to the team that went on to win Nationals, Wisconsin.
"Founded in 1985, the CSUF Men’s Rugby Team has a tradition of excellence. In 1987 the team toured England.. and in 1990 the Titan traveled abroad to Australia and New Zealand. We are due for a tour very soon! Stay Tuned!!

Prospective Players

CSUF Men’s Rugby accepts all interested students, of all skill and fitness levels, with any or no rugby experience. Any students interested in playing need only come out to practice and join in. No experience necessary. We have over 50 Men on our roster and most get to play. We practice every Tuesday and Thursday from 4:00pm-6:00pm at the CSUF East Intramural Fields. Only equipment necessary for practice is cleats and a mouth guard. No level of experience is required; the majority of our starting side began playing rugby in college with no previous experience. We also have preseason games from October to December. And remember, WE WELCOME PLAYERS WITH AND WITHOUT EXPERIENCE!
