Its such a shame the universities these girls represent can't do more to support them. My daughter plays for the IUP team who were in the same situation but opted to face the challenge & fundraise with a fever. That in addition to final exams has me nervous.... 16 of our girls are scheduled to graduate on Saturday 5/10 but will instead be taking their caps/gowns with them to California to play in Nationals. My plea goes out to all rugby lovers to help them reach their fundraising goals http://www.gofundme.com/8opnwk

Doc, I hate to see the team not playing as well. They have worked hard and been self-sufficient all year. I was amazed at the self-supported trips they took to Savannah, Atlanta etc. as a club team to compete with the best. I have a freshman on the team who is just learning the game and has had a great experience with the team. Maybe next year we can start earlier to gather some funds and sponsors to support the team? I would be willing to help in all areas.

Best of luck to CSU Northridge this weekend.
The original ladies that formed this team from before the school even recognized it, Capt. Gillian Chance, Capt. Ciarra Waters-Mullen, Sarah McGee, Jessica Murillo , Jade Law and Evelyn Avila, it has been a long road from the beginning and it now this YOUR TIME. Take it to 'em CSUN all 80 minutes!!
